AMFG and Autodesk Collaborate to Launch a Groundbreaking Integration

London, November 2025: We are proud to announce that AMFG and Autodesk have worked together to enable a seamless workflow between Autodesk Fusion and AMFG.
AMFG, an award-winning software platform for high-mix, low-volume manufacturers, has partnered with Autodesk to enable users to create, design, and edit additive manufacturing builds cohesively, with all changes reflected automatically in a common data model.
Prior to this collaboration, users wasted valuable time manually exporting and transferring builds between siloed products, from Autodesk or others. In addition to causing delays on projects and jobs, this process also increased the risk of inaccurate data transfers, resulting in frustrating errors that required lengthy, resource-heavy fixes.
Reflecting on the partnership, CEO and founder Keyvan Karimi said, “We’re very excited to be collaborating with Autodesk. This integration will be essential for any company that wants to efficiently manage their builds, and will significantly improve build times.”
The integration of a specialist MES solution for Additive Manufacturing – like AMFG – with a mass market capable end-to-end CAD/CAM/CAE platform like Fusion, provides customers with the best of both worlds. Machine and factory operators, service providers, and OEMs can access the incredible breadth of functionality that only a fully featured CAD system can offer, while working with AMFG’s software that can be precisely tailored to the individual needs of any 3D Printing operation.
Alexander Oster, Director of Additive Manufacturing at Autodesk, commented, “I was blown away by how well the solution turned out. It’s bidirectionally associative, so if you add a part in AMFG it will automatically reflect in Fusion, and if you add more parts in Fusion it will automatically reflect in AMFG, and that is the kind of API automation we love to see.”
This exciting partnership also represents the launch of AMFG’s strategic journey towards a fully comprehensive range of integrations with CAD and CAM solutions. AMFG will speed up CAM programming times by enabling the transmission of an AMFG quote to CAM platforms with a CAD file, tolerances, material grade, surface roughness, services, and threads included.
The new integration is set to launch in December 2025.
