Established in 1987 in New Prague, South Central Minnesota, Busch Brothers Machining supplies manufacturing companies with high quality components across the United States. With an extensive range of capabilities, including 5 axis machining, Swiss Lathes, and 3D printing with kevlar and carbon fiber, Busch Brothers Machining combines world class machining services with the personal touch of a small midwestern business.

Naturally, their widespread reputation for excellence and the rapid growth of the business, meant Busch Brothers began to receive large amounts of RFQs. However, due to their lean front office, their average response time was 3-4 days, and with first responders winning more work, this was a key issue for the shop. With hours spent every day managing quotes and estimates, and a backlog of quotes building up, Busch Brothers decided to investigate possible solutions.

Tyler Scholl, President of Busch Brothers, wanted something that would enable the company to respond to all RFQs within 24 hrs, without requiring more staff or manpower.

Reflecting on the partnership, Tyler explained “We are growing quickly, but to us it's important to stay as lean as possible in the front office, which means using tools like AMFG to do more with the staff we have.”

AMFG worked with Busch Brothers to build a tailored quoting tool that enables users to respond to RFQs quickly and accurately. Busch Brothers are now able to respond to all RFQs in under 24 hours, without taking on additional staff, while machinists and engineers can focus more of their energies on making quality parts.
